Local Radar LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates the TrunkShare application ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, phone number, profile photo, and password hash.
• Driver information: driver's license, vehicle make/model, license plate, and insurance details (used for verification only).
• Delivery information: pickup and drop-off addresses, item descriptions, photos, timestamps, and messages between users.
• Location data: real-time GPS while a delivery is active, used to match jobs and share ETA. You can revoke this at the OS level.
• Payment information: handled by our processor; we store only the last four digits, brand, and processor tokens — never full card numbers.
• Device & usage: IP address, device model, OS, app version, crash logs, and interaction events.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate the marketplace: matching, routing, escrow, notifications, and support.
• To verify identity and detect fraud, abuse, or unsafe behavior.
• To improve the Service through analytics and product research.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. How We Share Information

• Between users: Senders and Drivers see the other party's first name, photo, rating, and the pickup/drop-off address needed to complete the job.
• Service providers: hosting, payment processing, identity verification, mapping, SMS/email delivery, and analytics — under contracts that restrict their use of your data.
• Legal: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice.
• We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure to satisfy tax, dispute, and legal requirements. Trip and transaction records may be retained longer where required by law.

5. Your Choices & Rights

You can view and edit profile data in-app, revoke location permissions in your device settings, or request deletion by emailing support@trunkshare.com. Washington, California, and other state residents have rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use first-party storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and limited third-party analytics to understand product usage. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We will post updates here and, if material, notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.
